Public Works will begin flushing fire hydrants on May 22nd and expected to be completed by June 8th. When flushing does take place, temporary service disruptions may occur and you will notice discolored water. There is no health hazard associated with the discolored water, but we recommend allowing a few hours for the discoloration to dissipate. To verify water is clear, run the cold-water tap for a few minutes.
