Responsibilities

  • Liaison with Borough Secretary and Public Works Coordinator regarding Public Works Department
  • Liaison with Borough Engineer on Public Works matters
  • Oversee Public Works Department responsibilities:
    • Maintenance and improvements to Streets & Alleys
    • Maintenance and improvements to Water Distribution System
    • Maintenance and improvements to Sanitary Sewage System
    • Maintenance and improvements to Storm Sewage System
    • Maintenance of Borough Property
    • Maintenance of Borough Facilities (in conjunction with Facilities)
    • Capital improvements of Borough Property
    • Capital improvements of Borough Facilities (in conjunction with Facilities)
    • Maintenance of Public Works equipment
    • Carrying out of other Borough tasks requiring manpower at the request of and in conjunction with other Committees
  • Oversee assigned po11ion of the Budget and exercise authority as per Resolution 2022-2.
