Zoning & Code Enforcement Committee

Responsibilities

• Oversight of enforcement of zoning and property maintenance ordinances
• Oversee the development and implement procedures to enforce zoning & property maintenance ordinance
• Liaison
  • Zoning Officer
  • Code Enforcement Officer
  • Fire Inspector
  • Building Inspector
• In conjunction with Borough Solicitor. pursue measures to address blighted/abandoned properties
• Coordinate with Recreation & Community Development Committee regarding:
  • Review zoning and property maintenance ordinances
  • Propose changes to zoning and property maintenance
• Oversee assigned portion of the Budget and exercise authority as per Resolution 2022-2.
